SURGICAL EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL (SEIM) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH CONSISTS OF SURGICAL PROFESSIONAL AND DEDICATED STUDENTS WORKING TO PROVIDE SURGICAL VOLUNTEERING SERVICES TO COMMUNITIES IN NEED. OUR ORGANIZATION IS UNIQUE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT STOP AT SERVING COMMUNITY MEMBERS BUT ENPHASIZE BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LOCAL PHYSICIANS, MEDICAL STAFF, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. WE ARE PLANNING TO VISIT HONDURAS, VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA TO WORK ALONGSIDE LOCAL SURGICAL STAFF, TO LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER, AND TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED OF SURGICAL AND MEDICAL ATTENTION.
