LATINXED FELLOWSHIP: THE LATINXED FELLOWSHIP, A FLAGSHIP INITIATIVE, IS A DYNAMIC SIX-MONTH PROGRAM INVESTING IN THE GROWTH AND WELL-BEING OF LATINX EDUCATION LEADERS. WITH ONGOING COACHING, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT, AND ACCESS TO KEY FIGURES IN NORTH CAROLINA, FELLOWS GAIN ESSENTIAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FOR EFFECTIVE EDUCATION ADVOCACY. IN-PERSON RETREATS AND SUMMER SEMINARS FOSTER A COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, CONNECTING THEORY TO POLICY. FALL WORKSHOPS REFINE STORYTELLING AND VISION-BUILDING FOR ADVANCING LATINX STUDENT SUCCESS.


STORYTELLING: NUESTRO SOUTH IS A MULTIMEDIA SERIES THAT EXPLORES THE STORIES OF LATINX PEOPLE IN THE U.S. SOUTH FROM THE JIM CROW ERA ON THROUGH TO THE PRESENT.


COLLEGE Y CONSEJOS: COLLEGE Y CONSEJOS, OUR VIRTUAL COLLEGE ADVISING PROGRAM FOR LATINX HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NORTH CAROLINA, DELIVERS FREE SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS. ROOTED IN CULTURA AND COMUNIDAD, THE PROGRAM OFFERS INDIVIDUALIZED GUIDANCE AND FOSTERS CONNECTIONS WITHIN THE LATINXED NETWORK. TAILORED FOR FIRST-GENERATION COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THOSE WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES, COLLEGE Y CONSEJOS PROVIDES INDIVIDUAL ADVISING, WORKSHOPS, AND EVENTS TO SUPPORT THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES IN NAVIGATING AND ACCESSING POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION.


LATINX EDUCATION SUMMIT: THE LATINX EDUCATION SUMMIT IS AN ANNUAL STATEWIDE CONVENING OF LATINX LEADERS AND EDUCATION CHAMPIONS FOCUSED ON BUILDING COLLECTIVE ACTION, DEVELOPING NEW STRATEGIES, AND MOBILIZING RESOURCES TO ADVANCE LATINX STUDENT SUCCESS IN NORTH CAROLINA.
