CORPS MEMBER (CM) LEARNING:NORTH CAROLINA EDUCATION CORPS (NCEC) SUPPORTED CORPS MEMBERS WITH BEST-IN-PRACTICE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING, THE LATEST IN DATA-INFORMED AND RESEARCH-BASED TUTORING METHODOLOGIES, AND ONGOING COACHING AND PROGRESS MONITORING SUPPORT TO ENHANCE THE IMPACT OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN SCHOOLS AND TO IMPROVE STUDENT GROWTH.

RECRUIT:IN '23-'24 NCEC RECRUITED 587 CORPS MEMBERS WHO WERE HIRED AND PLACED BY 32 PUBLIC SCHOOL UNITS TO PROVIDE HIGH-IMPACT READING TUTORING TO 11,548 K-5 STUDENTS PERFORMING BELOW GRADE-LEVEL READING PROFICIENCY IN APPROXIMATELY 236 NORTH CAROLINA ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, INCLUDING 223 TITLE 1 SCHOOLS.
IMPLEMENT:NCEC PROVIDED SCHOOL PARTNERS WITH HIGH-IMPACT TUTORING PROGRAM GUIDANCE AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT IN ALIGNMENT WITH NATIONAL BEST PRACTICES, STATE STANDARDS, SCHOOL PRIORITIES, SCHEDULING, TUTOR MANAGEMENT, PROGRESS MONITORING, AND PROGRAM EVALUATION NEEDS.
