LAUNDRY OUTREACH: BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE EXPERIENCING POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS, WHILE PROVIDING THEM LAUNDRY SERVICES. ALSO, PARTNER WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES DURING LAUNDRY, INCLUDING SHOWER SERVICES. THE LAUNDRY OUTREACH HAD 2,862 VISITS SERVING 664 INDIVIDUALS IN 2020. THE SHOWER OUTREACH PROVIDED 15 SHOWERS SERVING 10 INDIVIDUALS IN 2020 BEFORE SUSPENDING THE PROGRAM DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
MEALS PROGRAM: BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE EXPERIENCING POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS WHILE PROVIDING THEM MEALS AT LAUNDRY OUTREACH AND COLD WEATHER SHELTER. 2,090 MEALS WERE PROVIDED TO 733 INDIVIDUALS IN 2020.
MOTEL COLD WEATHER SHELTER PROGRAM: BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE EXPERIENCING POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS WHILE PROVIDING THEM A SAFE AND WARM PLACE TO SLEEP WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW 34 DEGREES. BETWEEN NOVEMBER 1ST AND MARCH 15TH, 44 HOUSEHOLDS WITH 69 INDIVIDUALS WERE OFFERED 376 BED NIGHTS IN 2020.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES CONSIST OF:PURCHASE GROCERY AND RESTAURANT GIFT CARDS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS.
