AMI YEARLY INSTITUTE HAS 4 CONFERENCE-STYLE EVENTS PER ACADEMIC YEAR. THE YEARLY INSTITUTE IS COMPRISED OF 4 CONFERENCE-STYLE SESSIONS SCHEDULED TO SUIT THE EBBS AND FLOWS OF AN ACADEMIC CALENDAR: OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, JANUARY, MARCH. EACH SESSION INCLUDES 3-5 GUEST PRESENTERS WHO SPEAK TO A SESSION'S THEME AND FROM THEIREXPERTISE. OFTEN PRESENTERS ARE LOCAL TO THE REGION OR FROM THE SPONSORING COLLEGE. EACH SESSION IS ORGANIZED AROUND A BROAD TOPIC OF INFORMATION AND SKILL BUILDING FOR WOMEN PROFESSIONALS IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY. INSTITUTE PARTICIPANTS MUST BE NOMINATED AND SPONSORED BY THEIR HOME INSTITUTIONS.PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL 4 CONFERENCE-STYLE SESSIONS OF THE INSTITUTE. EACH YEAR'S COHORT IS COMPRISED OF 40-50 PARTICIPANTS. OVER THE YEAR, PARTICIPANTS COMPLETE A PROJECT OF THEIR OWN DESIGN THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THEIR HOME COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.
