THE CIVIC INNOVATION CORPS IS A NEW PROGRAM MOBILIZING THE NEXT GENERATION OF TECHNOLOGISTS TO CREATE CIVIC IMPACT IN CITIES AND STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THROUGH 10-WEEK INTERNSHIPS, STUDENT TECHNOLOGISTS WILL WORK AT STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES AND RECEIVE A COMPETITIVE STIPEND, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, AND ACCESS TO A COMMUNITY OF MISSION-DRIVEN PEERS. IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED 55 FELLOWS AT 19 STATE AND LOCAL HOST OFFICES.
THE CIVIC DIGITAL FELLOWSHIP IS A 10-WEEK-LONG INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, DATA SCIENCE, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, AND DESIGN STUDENTS-BOTH AT THE UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVELS-TO SOLVE INNOVATION CHALLENGES IN THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED 98 FELLOWS AT 10 FEDERAL AGENCIES.
