THE COMMITTEE CONDUCTS AN EDUCATIONAL-LOBBYING PROGRAM ON A STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL TO OPPOSE COMPULSORY UNIONISM. AMONG OTHER OBJECTIVES, THE COMMITTEE STRIVES TO PROTECT EXISTING STATE RIGHT TO WORK LAWS AND THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES' RIGHT TO WORK LAW, AS WELL AS TO ENCOURAGE OTHER STATES AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO ADOPT RIGHT TO WORK LAWS PROTECTING ALL WORKERS AFFECTED BY COMPULSORY UNIONISM. ITS ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO ELIMINATE COMPULSORY UNIONISM. AS OF 2021, 27 STATES HAVE ADOPTED RIGHT TO WORK LAWS.
