PROVIDE HEALING, HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT TO WOMEN SURVIORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING, SEXUAL TRAUMA AND ADDICTION.

IN 2023, SOAR SERVED THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE TWO-YEAR FREE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM OFFERING 730 NIGHTS OF CARE. WE PROVIDED MENTORING TO AN AVERAGE OF 192 WOMEN PER YEAR THROUGH OUR SUPPORT GROUP AT THE JACKSON COUNTY JAIL. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE SERVED ON AVERAGE 288 WOMENT SURVIVORS PER YEAR THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUP. AND WE HAVE MENTORED AT WOMEN'S HURON VALLEY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY. WOMEN IN THE PROGRAMS GAIN EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND HOUSING WITH FAMILIES REUNITED AND RESTORED, HEALING GENERATIONS TO COME. SURVIVORS BECOME CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WITH THE FIRST GRADUATE COMPLETING HER MASTER'S DEGREE THIS YEAR AND SPEAKING AT THE WHITE HOUSE.


THE HEALING HANDBAGS FUNDRAISING EVENT: A BRAND-NAME PURSE RAFFLE AND DINNER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE SOAR PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES HEALING, HOUSING, AND LIFE SKILLS FOR WOMEN SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING, ADDICTION, AND SEXUAL TRAUMA.
