PLACEMENT & REFERRAL FOR AREA MUNICIPAL US DISTRICT AND COUNTY COURTS. ADULTS ORDERED TO PERFORM COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK AS A CONDITION OF PROBATION OR IN LIEU OF FINANCIAL SANCTIONS ARE INTERVIEWED AND PLACED TO WORK UNDER SUPERVISION AT NOT-FOR-PROFIT AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. THE PROGRESS OF EACH REFERRAL IS TRACKED & STATUS REPORTS GIVEN TO REFERRING COURT. RECEIVED 3,229 COMMUNITY SERVICE REFERRALS THAT WORKED 81,842 HOURS AT LOCAL NON-PROFIT AGENCIES. REVENUE AND HOURS ABOVE INCLUDES SOME INCOME AND HOURS UTILIZED IN 4B AND 4C BELOW.
WORK CREW PROGRAM CONSISTS OF SEVERAL SUPERVISED WORK CREWS COMPRISED OF COMMUNITY SERVICE WORKERS. A PAID SUPERVISOR TRANSPORTS THE CREW TO & FROM DESIGNATED WORKSITES. CREWS PERFORM LITTER COLLECTION COMMUNITY CLEANUPS LANDSCAPING & GRAFFITI REMOVAL. THEY ALSO ASSIST AREA NOT-FOR-PROFIT AGENCIES WITH COMMUNITY PROJECTS. SOME REVENUE FOR THIS FUNCTION IS REPORTED IN 4A ABOVE. SUPERVISED WORK CREWS COLLECTED 26,941 BAGS OF LITTER 19,225 TIRES & 6,611 CUBIC YARDS OF DEBRIS THROUGHOUT CUYAHOGA COUNTY.
CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON CCW PROGRAM IS A 3 HOUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM COVERING THE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES & PERSONAL DANGERS INVOLVED IN THE PURCHASE POSSESSION AND USE OF FIREARMS OR OTHER WEAPONS. AREA COURTS REFER INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED OF CCW OR SIMILAR CHARGES. THE PROGRAM IS AIMED AT REDUCING RECIDIVISM WHILE PROVIDING AN OVERVIEW OF CURRENT WEAPON RELATED LAWS. RECEIVED 256 CCW PROGRAM REFERRALS.
