AS STATED ABOVE, CHS ARRANGES AND MAINTAINS HOUSING FOR 10 INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS AND OTHER DISABILITIES WHO DON'T NEED A GROUP HOME BUT SHOULDN'T LIVE ALONE AND NEED RENT/UTILITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY $500 A MONTH OR LESS. PROVIDED HOLIDAY AND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AND PROVIDED WITH COVID ABATEMENT SUPPLIES. FOUNDER CHAIR DONATED APPROXIMATELY 1,000 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE ORGANIZATION AS A VOLUNTEER AND DID NOT CHARGE FOR MILEAGE AND OTHER EXPENSES. KEPT EXPENSES AT A MINIMUM IN ORDER TO GET INTO POSITION TO HAVE THE FINANCIAL ABILITY TO ADD RENTAL ARRANGEMENT TO HOUSE ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANTS IN THE FUTURE.
