DRESS FOR SUCCESS BOISE SHOP - HELPS WOMEN ACHIEVE A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE THAT ALLOWS THEM TO GO INTO ANY WORKPLACE, INTERVIEW AND ACQUIRE A JOB. WE DO THIS BY GIVING THEM APPROPRIATE INTERVIEW CLOTHING WHILE PROVIDING THEM WITH ENCOURAGEMENT AND COACHING ON HOW TO COMPLETE A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW. ONCE A WOMEN IS HIRED, SHE CAN RETURN FOR A SECOND OUTFIT AND IS INVITED TO BECOME PART OF THE PROFESSIONAL WOMENS GROUP.
MOBILE BOUTIQUE IS THE NEWEST PROGRAM AND STARTED IN OCTOBER 2019. A TRUCK WAS PURCHASED AND OUTFITTED TO BECOME A MOBILE DRESS FOR SUCCESS. WE NOW HAVE THE RESOURCE THAT ALLOWS US TO TRAVEL TO AGENCY LOCATIONS AROUND IDAHO. IN 2020 64 WOMEN WERE SERVED WITH THE MOBILE BOUTIQUE.
PROFESSIONAL WOMENS GROUP (PWG) - IS A NETWORKING ASSOCIATION FOR DISADVANTAGED WOMEN ENTERING THE WORKFORCE, TO HELP THEM RETAIN THEIR JOB. THE PWG PROMOTES CAREER DEVELOPMENT BY OFFERING NEW INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP WOMEN UNFAMILIAR WITH THE WORKPLACE TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND TRANSITION INTO EMPLOYMENT MAINSTREAM. MEMBERS OF PWG RECEIVE INTIMATE EXPOSURE TO EXPERT PROFESSIONALS WHO ATTEND THE METTINGS. MEMBERSHIP IN THE PWG IS OPEN TO DRESS FOR SUCCESS BOISE CLIENTS WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY GAINED EMPLOYMENT. THERE ARE CURRENTLY 18 WOMEN WHO CONSISTANTELY BENEFIT FROM THE NETWORKING SUPPORT OF PWG.
