THE "CENTRO DE INVESTIGACION, ENTRENAMIENTO Y RECLUTAMIENTO DEL TRABAJADOR ORGANIZADO" (THE "CENTER FOR RESEARCH, TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT OF ORGANIZED WORKERS, OR "CIERTO") ORGANIZES FARMWORKERS AROUND THE WORLD TO COLLABORATE WITH THEIR EMPLOYERS AND TOGETHER ENGAGE THE GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN TO IDENTIFY AND IMPLEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO CREATE VALUE - TO THE BENEFIT OF FARMWORKERS, THEIR EMPLOYERS, THE COMPANIES WHO PURCHASE THE FARMS' PRODUCTS, AND THE CONSUMERS WHO ENJOY THOSE PRODUCTS. THIS IN TURN WILL BENEFIT WORKERS, EMPLOYERS, RETAILERS AND CONSUMERS IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD.

CIERTO'S MOST SIGNIFICANT PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2022 WERE TO PROVIDE RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING TO PLACE 1,695 WORKERS FROM VARIOUS COMMUNITIES IN MEXICO AND GUATEMALA ON FARMS IN WASHINGTON, CALIFORNIA, ARIZONA AND NEW JERSEY. WE CONTINUE TO USE OUR THIRD PARTY VERIFICATION SYSTEM TO MONITOR OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND THROUGH THIS MECHANISM HAVE ENSURED THE SAFE, TRANSPARENT AND FRAUDULENT FREE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR THESE WORKERS. WE ASSIST ALL WORKERS IN THE VISA PROCESS AND IN EVERY STEP FROM COMMUNITIES OF ORIGIN, TO CROSSING THE BORDER, TO ARRIVING ON FARMS.
