TO PROVIDE MOUNTAIN HOME SENIORS AND THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE IN RECREATIONAL, SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, CIVIC, GOVERNMENTAL, CULTURAL, SERVICE, AND HEALTH RELATED ACTIVITIES IN A WELCOMING, EFFICIENT, COMFORTABLE, AVAILABLE FACILITY.

THE MOUNTAIN HOME SENIOR CENTER MAINTAINS A MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM FOR THE COMMUNITY. WE PROVIDE FROZEN MEALS TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS FOR WEEKENDS AND ON DAYS THAT HOT MEALS ARE NOT DELIVERED. WE ALSO PROVIDE CONGREGATE MEALS AT THE SENIOR CENTER ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND FRIDAYS.
THE MOUNTAIN HOME SENIOR CENTER PROVIDES SENIORS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE WITH RECREATIONAL, SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, CIVIC, CULTURAL SERVICE AND HEALTH PROGRAMS. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED CARD GAMES, LINE DANCING, AND ADULT COLORING. BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS AND THE LIVING WELL IN IDAHO PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED. AARP/VITA INCOME TAX PREPARATION SERVICES WERE OFFERED FREE TO THE PUBLIC, AS WELL AS LEGAL AID, SMART 911, AND MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION PART D ASSISTANCE.
