AS THE COLLECTIVE VOICE FOR NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO, CLEARWATER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION PROVIDES LEADERSHIP AND GUIDANCE IN DEVELOPING COMMUNITIES, DIVERSIFYING THE ECONOMY, AND CREATING PROSPERITY.

CEDA PROVIDED COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR 64 ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERS AND PASSED THROUGH $126,908 OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND CONTRACTS TO AGENCIES IN THE REGION FOR THE SAME ECONOMIC PURPOSE. IN ORDER TO PROMOTE DIVERSIFICATION AND ALLEVIATE UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO AND SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON REGIONS, CEDA GRANTED 14 NEW LOANS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR VALUED AT $1,579,890 TO SMALL BUSINESS CUSTOMERS. AT THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR, CEDA'S SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM HAD 40 OUTSTANDING LOANS RECEIVABLE VALUED AT $3.4 MILLION.
