ANSAAR-E-FATEMI DAWAT INC ("AEFD") HAS BEEN FORMED TO CARRY OUT, AMONG OTHER THINGS, PIOUS, RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES FOR DAWOODI BOHRA COMMUNITY LED BY HIS HOLINESS SYEDNA TAHER FAKHRUDDIN, AND TO DEFEND AND PROTECT THE RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES OF THE DAWOODI BOHRA COMMUNITY.

DAWAT CASE LEGAL FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT LEGAL EFFORTS ONGOING IN VARIOUS JURISDICTIONS OF THE WORLD TO ESTABLISH THAT SYEDNA KHUZAIMA QUTBUDDIN IS THE TRUE SUCCESSOR AND RELIGIOUS HEAD (53RD DAI-AL-MUTLAQ) OF DAWOODI BOHRA COMMUNITY, AND THAT SHEZADA MUFADDAL SAIFUDDIN HAS WRONGFULLY USURPED THIS POSITION.
ZAKAT FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO RECEIVE ZAKAT DONATIONS MADE BY ANY MEMBER OF DAWOODI BOHRA COMMUNITY DURING THE MONTH OF RAMADAN. ACCORDING TO QURANIC PRINCIPLES, ZAKAT FUNDS ARE TO BE SPENT FOR THE POOR, THE DESTITUTE, ITS ADMINISTRATORS, THOSE WHOSE HEARTS ARE TO BE WON OVER, FREEING FROM BONDAGE, HELPING THOSE OVERBURDENED WITH DEBTS, IN ALLAH'S CAUSE, AND THE WAYFARER. IT WAS DECIDED THAT AEFD WILL SPEND THE AMOUNTS COLLECTED AS ZAKAT IN LIGHT OF THESE QURANIC PRINCIPLES, AND FOR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE OR RELIGIOUS PURPOSES OF AEFD.
