WE PROVIDE RESOURCES TO IMPROVE HEALTH, NUTRITION AND EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES OF IMPOVERISHED PEOPLE IN GUATEMALA. WE WORK DIRECTLY WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS WHO TELL US ABOUT THEIR MOST PRESSING NEEDS. WE THEN COLLABORATE WITH THEM TO PLAN, FUND AND DELIVER PROJECTS TO MEET THOSE NEEDS. EACH PROJECT JUMPSTARTS IMPROVEMENTS AND PROVIDES A CLEAR VISION FOR BRIGHTER TOMORROWS.

CORE MISSION: UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A GUATEMALAN PROJECT MANAGER AND COMMUNITY LIAISON, WE SUPPORTED A CHICKEN DONATION PROJECT AND VITAMINS IN OUR NUTRITION PROGRAM, A COMMUNITY POTABLE WATER PROJECT, COMMUNITY AND FAMILY GARDENS, FOOD RELIEF, AN ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM, TWO SCHOOL LIBRARIES, STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES, WATER FILTERS AND LOW-EMISSION FUEL-EFFICIENT STOVES.
NUEVO RETO: WE SUPPORTED THE YOUTH TRANSITION HOME IN BÁRCENAS, VILLA NUEVA WITH FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY GARDEN, DONATION OF BUNK BEDS, STUDENT SPONSORSHIP, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, WATER FILTERS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, FOOD RELIEF, AND A COMMUNITY MEAL PROGRAM.
BACKYARD SCHOOL: WE SUPPORTED THE OBJECTIVES OF BACKYARD SCHOOL AND THEIR COMMUNITY OUTREACH IN SAN BARTOLOMÉ MILPAS ALTAS WITH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, BUNK BEDS, A COMMUNITY GARDEN, THE #HOPEBOX PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES AT-HOME COVID CARE KITS TO QUARANTINED FAMILIES, FOOD RELIEF, AND SUPPORT OF THEIR COMPUTER LAB.
