IN 2023, THE VENTURA COUNTY CIVIC ALLIANCE PRODUCED THE BIENNIAL STATE OF THE REGION REPORT (SOTR) WHICH EXAMINES KEY REGIONAL INDICATORS WITHIN 10 DOMAINS. THESE INCLUDE AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION, ECONOMY, LAND USE & HOUSING, PUBLIC SAFETY, SOCIAL SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION. THIS REPORT IS DISTRIBUTED TO THOUSANDS OF COMMUNITY, BUSINESS, EDUCATION AND POLITICAL LEADERS WITHIN VENTURA COUNTY TO INFORM THEIR DECISION-MAKING.THE VENTURA COUNTY CIVIC ALLIANCE RAISED FUNDS, RESEARCHED AND PUBLISHED THE 2023 STATE OF THE REGION REPORT. BOARD MEMBERS VOLUNTEERED HUNDREDS OF HOURS AND ADDITIONAL RESOURCES WERE CONTRACTED TO WRITE AND EDIT THE REPORT. THE REPORT WAS INITIALLY RELEASED AT A LARGE COMMUNITY EVENT WITH OVER 240 PEOPLE THEN DISTRIBUTED VIA BOARD MEMBER PRESENTATIONS TO CITY COUNCILS, PUBLIC SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS AND MANY OTHERS.
