THE LLN BRINGS TOGETHER A GROUP OF DIVERSE-BY-DESIGN SCHOOLS THAT ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING UNIQUE AND DYNAMIC LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR ALL STUDENTS, INCLUDING THOSE HISTORICALLY UNDERSERVED, WHILE EMPOWERING TEACHERS, LEADERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS AS STEWARDS OF EXCELLENT SCHOOLS THAT SUPPORT THE SUCCESS OF DPS AS A COLLECTIVE.

THE LLN SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASES THE ABILITY OF EACH OF ITS MEMBER SCHOOLS TO ALLOCATE RESOURCES AND TO TAILOR STRATEGIES AND APPROACHES TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE LLN SUPPORTS SIX SCHOOLS SERVING 2,110 STUDENTS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS, THE LLN ENSURES THAT SCHOOLS HAVE THE OPERATIONAL AND FINANCIAL AUTONOMY AND FLEXIBILITY THEY NEED IN ORDER TO EXECUTE THEIR INNOVATION PLANS WITH FIDELITY AND CUSTOMIZE THEIR EDUCATIONAL MODEL IN ORDER TO BEST SERVE STUDENTS. IN ADDITION, THE LLN PROVIDES EXECUTIVE COACHING, SCHOOL REVIEWS, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL MEMBER SCHOOLS.
