SAN JUAN COLLEGE FOUNDATION ACTS PRIMARILY AS A FUNDRAISING ORGANIZATION TO SUPPLEMENT THE RESOURCES THAT ARE AVAILABE TO SAN JUAN COLLEGE (A NEW MEXICO STATE GOVERNMENTAL COLLEGE). ALTHOUGH THE COLLEGE DOES NOT CONTROL THE TIMING OR AMOUNT OF RECEIPTS FROM THE FOUNDATION, THE MAJORITY OF RESOURCES, OR INCOME THEREON THAT THE FOUNDATION HOLDS AND INVESTS ARE RESTRICTED TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COLLEGE BY THE DONORS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT TO APPROXIMATELY 1,105 STUDENTS VALUED AT $532,925. IN ADDITION, IT PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR AWARDS, PROGRAMS, AND RELATIONS VALUED AT $442,601 TO SAN JUAN COLLEGE.
