THE MISSION OF THE CCHS FOUNDATION IS TO CLEARLY INFORM HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONERS, HEALTHCARE STUDENTS, THE MEDIA, AND THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE UNIQUE AND UNIQUELY MISUNDERSTOOD MEDICAL NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS.

THE CCHS FOUNDATION SUNDAY CLINICS AT THE Z MANSION: OUR HOMELESS MEDICINE SUNDAY CLINICS IN 2023 ASSESSED AN AVERAGE PATIENT POPULATION OF 150 EACH WEEK (OVER 7,800 FIELD ASSESSMENTS). OF THOSE ASSESSED, AN AVERAGE OF 43 PATIENTS EACH WEEK WERE REFERRED TO OUR ONSITE CLINIC FOR TREATMENT AND/OR IMMEDIATE TRANSPORT TO A HOSPITAL.
PHYSICIAN EDUCATION IN HOMELESS MEDICINE BY THE CCHS FOUNDATION: IN 2023, OUR ONLINE AND IN-PERSON PHYSICIAN TRAINING PROGRAMS INSTRUCTED OVER 400 PHYSICIANS AND STUDENTS IN THE UNIQUE MEDICAL NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS.
PUBLICATIONS IN HOMELESS MEDICINE BY THE CCHS FOUNDATION: IN 2023, THE CCHS FOUNDATION PUBLISHED "GIMME SHELTER: A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDE TO THE UNIQUE MEDICAL NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS" (A 150 PAGE MANUAL FOR PHYSICIANS), 150 RISK ASSESSMENT SHEETS FOR PHYSICIANS DETAILING THE 150 TOP MEDICAL ISSUES OF THE HOMELESS, AND PARTNERED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA COLLEGE OF MEDICINE TO CREATE "A GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING THE MEDICAL NEEDS OF YOUR ELDERLY HOMELESS PATIENT."
