IN 2023, FOSSIL FREE CALIFORNIA DEMONSTRATED WHAT MOMENTUM LOOKS LIKE IN ACTION:-EXPANDED OUR DIVESTMENT COALITION TO180 ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT PUBLIC PENSION DIVESTMENT-SUPPORTED YOUTH ORGANIZERS ATTENDANCE AND POWER-BUILDING AT TWO CALIFORNIA TEACHERS ASSOCIATION STATE COUNCILS WHICH IN TURN RESULTED IN THREE CAUCUSES AND SEVERAL UNION LOCALS PUBLICLY SUPPORTING DIVESTMENT-HOSTED A POWERFUL WEBINAR ON THE ROLE OF UNIONS IN PENSION DIVESTMENT ATTENDED BY OVER 100 UNION MEMBERS STATEWIDE.-EARNED EXTENSIVE MEDIA COVERAGE WITH OVER 50 ARTICLES BY MAJOR NEWS OUTLETS INCLUDING BLOOMBERG, POLITICO, WASHINGTON POST, AND THE LOS ANGELES TIMES.-SECURED RESOLUTIONS IN SUPPORT OF PUBLIC PENSION DIVESTMENT BY 13 UNIONS, INCLUDING CFT,CALIFORNIA FACULTY ASSOCIATION, AFSCME CALIFORNIA, CALIFORNIA NURSES ASSOCIATION, PLUS 5 CITIES.-SECURED ENDORSEMENTS FROM FIONA MA, OAKLAND CITY ATTORNEY BARBARA J.
