BILLY FRANK JR PACIFIC SALMON SUMMIT - HELD IN MARCH 2021, THE DAYLONG EVENT BROUGHT TOGETHER HUNDREDS OF SALMON ADVOCATES TO ADDRESS CHALLENGES AND STRATEGIES TO PROTECT SALMON FOR OUR COMMON FUTURE. THE SUMMIT'S AIM WAS TO INSPIRE, ENLIGHTEN, AND IGNITE THE SALMON RECOVERY COMMUNITY THROUGH PRESENTATIONS ABOUT TREATY RIGHTS, THE STATUS OF SALMON AND ITS HABITAT, AND CRITICAL POLICY ISSUES.
COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC OUTREACH - THIS INCLUDES ALL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH SOCIAL MEDIA, MARKETING, AND THE GRAPHIC DESIGN OF OUTREACH MATERIALS. THE IMPORTANCE OF PUBLIC OUTREACH IS TO INCREASE THE PUBLIC'S KNOWLEDGE OF THE PLIGHT OF THE SALMON THROUGH INFORMATION AND EDUCATION.IN 2021 SALMON DEFENSE FUND RAISED FUNDS FOR A BILLY FRANK JR.
