THE PAL TWELVE35 TEEN CENTER STANDS AT A CENTRAL LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN SANTA BARBARA, WELCOMING STUDENTS AGE 11-18. OPERATING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 3PM - 6:30PM, ITS PRIMARY GOAL IS TO CREATE A SAFE AND POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT EXTENDS THE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS. AT THE TEEN CENTER, YOUNG INDIVIDUALS HAVE THE CHANCE TO ENGAGE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, BENEFITING FROM THEIR GUIDANCE AND MENTORSHIP. ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AT THE TEEN CENTER ARE TAILORED TO FOCUS ON CRUCIAL AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT FOR TEENS, AIMING TO MOLD THEM INTO HEALTHY AND WELL-ROUNDED CONTRIBUTORS TO OUR COMMUNITY. THESE AREAS INCLUDE ACADEMICS, LEADERSHIP, MENTORSHIP, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. BY NURTURING THESE ASPECTS, THE TEEN CENTER ENDEAVORS TO HELP TEENS GROW AND PROSPER, PREPARING THEM FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE.


THE CAMPERSHIP ALLIANCE IS AN INDISPENSABLE SERVICE FOR THE COMMUNITY, DEDICATED TO PROMOTING EQUITY AND INCLUSION. THROUGH A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT BETWEEN PAL AND 15 OTHER AGENCIES, THIS INITIATIVE AIMS TO PROVIDE SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS TO DESERVING YOUTH AGED 3 TO 18. PAL TAKES ON A CENTRAL ROLE WITHIN THE CAMPERSHIP ALLIANCE, SERVING AS THE HUB FOR QUALIFYING, REGISTERING, AND ALLOCATING OVER 500 SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS. MOREOVER, THE CENTER GOES THE EXTRA MILE BY OFFERING TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE CAMPS AS NEEDED, ENSURING THAT EVERY QUALIFIED YOUTH HAS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE ENRICHING EXPERIENCES. BY SPEARHEADING THIS COLLECTIVE EFFORT, THE CAMPERSHIP ALLIANCE AND PAL MAKE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT IN CREATING A MORE EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY, FOSTERING PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUNG INDIVIDUALS FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS.


COMMUNITY ORIENTED SPECIAL EVENTS. PAL HOSTS A SERIES OF FREE EVENTS THAT ALIGN WITH OUR MISSION OF FOSTERING STRONGER CONNECTIONS BETWEEN COPS,KIDS AND THE COMMUNITY. ONE SUCH EVENT IS TRUNK OR TREAT, A DELIGHTFUL OCCASION WHERE 30 LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES COME TOGETHER TO DISTRIBUTE CANDY TO LOCAL YOUTH IN A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE ENVIRONMENT.DURING WINTER WONDERLAND, WE SPREAD JOY BY PROVIDING OVER 150 GIFTS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN SANTA BARBARA. THIS HEARTWARMING EVENT ALSO BRINGS FAMILIES TOGETHER FOR A SPECIAL DINNER, CREATING LASTING MEMORIES AND SENSE OF TOGETHERNESS.ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT PROGRAM OFFERED IS BIG & LITTLE PAL SPRING BREAK CAMP, WHERE 28 YOUTH ARE TREATED TO AN ENRICHING SPRING BREAK CAMP FILLED WITH EXCURSIONS AND VALUABLE MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES. THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE, WE STRIVE TO EMPOWER AND INSPIRE THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.EACH OF THESE FREE EVENTS PLAYS A VITAL ROLE IN BUILDING BRIDGES AND FOSTERING A SENSE OF COMMUNITY, CREATING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF THE YOUTH AND FAMILIES WE SERVE.
