TO EMPOWER LOW-INCOME IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES IN MULTIPLE COUNTIES IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL CALIFORNIA THROUGH DIRECT SERVICES, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND POLICY ADVOCACY. THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVE THAT ALL PEOPLE, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL STATUS OR NATIONALITY, ARE ENTITLED TO ESSENTIAL SERVICES, HUMAN DIGNITY, BASIC RIGHTS AND PROTECTIONS, AND ACCESS TO FULL PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZING AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT - TO ASSIST COMMUNITIES IN TAPPING THEIR POTENTIAL FOR LEADERSHIP AND TO ALLOW EMPOWERMENT, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNICATION AMONG ALL COMMUNITIES.SIREN ALSO ENGAGES IN CIVIC ENGAGEMENT WITH THE FOLLOWING DESIRED OUTCOMES:- INCREASE CIVIC PARTICIPATION AMONG IMMIGRANTS AND YOUTH THROUGH VOTER REGISTRATION- EDUCATE IMMIGRANT AND YOUTH VOTERS THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND VOTER CONTACT- SHIFT THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE CENTRAL VALLEY BY MOBILIZING IMMIGRANT AND YOUTH VOTE IN ELECTIONS.


IMMIGRANT SERVICES - TO PROVIDE APPLICATION ASSISTANCE, INFORMATION, AND EDUCATION TO IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE COMMUNITIES, SO THAT THEY MAY BECOME FULL PARTICIPANTS IN SOCIETY.


POLICY ADVOCACY - TO PROMOTE POLICIES THAT PROTECT IMMIGRANT RIGHTS AND EMPOWER IMMIGRANTS TO MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE POLITICAL DECISIONS THAT AFFECT THEIR LIVES.
