THE PARKS FOUNDATION OF MONTEREY COUNTY IS DEDICATED TO ENRICHING CULTURAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS IN MONTEREY COUNTY PARKS. THE PARKS FOUNDATION HAS HELPED REFURBISH THE AVENUE OF HONOR AT SAN LORENZO PARK. THIS IS A MEMORIAL TO ALL THE FALLEN MILITARY IN MONTEREY COUNTY. DURING THE YEAR, THE FOUNDATION DISSOLVED AND DONATED REMAINING ASSETS TO THE COUNTY OF MONTEREY AND THE LAGUNA SECA RACEWAY FOUNDATION.
