THE SPECTRUM HEALTH - MSU ALLIANCE CORPORATION PROVIDES A MECHANISM FOR ITS MEMBERS TO FUND THE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION BY MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF RESEARCHERS AND MEDICAL EDUCATORS OF MUTUAL INTEREST AND THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONGOING RESEARCH PLANS. THE MEMBERS MAKE DECISIONS THROUGH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ORGANIZATION WITH RESPECT TO MATTERS DETERMINED TO BE OF MUTUAL INTEREST, SUCH AS AREAS OF STAFFING FOR BASIC AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AND MEDICAL RESEARCH EDUCATION.
