CONFERENCES AND EDUCATION - SLAS HOSTS CONFERENCES IN THE UNITED STATES AND EUROPE FROM ALL AREAS OF THE LABORATORY AUTOMATION AND SCREENING FIELD. THE CONFERENCES INCLUDE PRESENTATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL COURSES.


THE SLAS STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS FUNCTIONS AS A GUIDE FOR DECISION-MAKING AND AS A FRAMEWORK TO MEASURE PROGRESS. THIS PLAN IS A FLEXIBLE TOOL THAT CAN BE RECALIBRATED WHEN NECESSARY IN RESPONSE TO NEW OPPORTUNITIES PRESENTED BY THE CHANGES IN MEMBER PRIORTIES, ECONOMIC CONDITIONS, AND MARKET TRENDS. THE PLANS DEVELOPED HELP TO FOCUS RESOURCES IN WAYS THAT WILL BEST SERVE THE MEMBERSHIP AND THE ORGANIZATION.
