SCI://TECH: THE SCI:// TECH EXPOSITION BEGAN AS A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CONROE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AND SEVERAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEER SUPPORT TO THE LOCAL SCIENCE FAIR, AND NOW OFFERS 13 SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH COMPETITIONS. EACH COMPETITION OFFERS LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM AND TEACHES CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS THAT WILL ENABLE STUDENTS TO THRIVE IN ANY CAREER FIELD. THE SCI://TECH EXPOSITION IS ONE OF THE LARGEST REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIRS IN THE NATION.


STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: EFTAS STUDENT INTERSHIP PROGRAM (SIP) OFFERS BRIGHT, MOTIVATED HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS HANDS-ON LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES IN THEIR DESIRED CAREER FIELDS. SIP INTERNSHIPS ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE JUST STARTING TO EXPORE CAREER OPTIONS. EFTA PARNTERS WITH EMPLOYERS EACH SUMMER TO OFFER EACH STUDENT 80 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO SHARE THEIR CAREER PATHS.


NEXT GENERATION LEADERSHIP: THE NEXT GENERATION LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IS A PARTNERSHIP WITH CONROE/LAKE CONROE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (THE "CHAMBER") TO PROVIDE PROMISING 12TH GRADE STUDENTS IN THE CHAMBER'S SERVICE AREA WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT LEADERSHIP AT WORK AND TO CULTIVATE INDIVIDUAL LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH INTERACTION WITH PROFESSIONAL IN BUSINESS, EDUCATION, AND GOVERNMENT.
