SAFETY TOWN IS A PROGRAM TO TEACH SMALL CHILDREN SAFETY ISSUES SUCH AS CROSSING THE STREET, GETTING HELP FROM FIRE AND POLICE PERSONNEL, ETC. THE PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED IN THE SUMMER FOR CHILDREN STARTING SCHOOL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARKING LOTS.
THE FOUNDATION GIVES THE MAJORITY OF ITS INCOME TO LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOLARSHIPS TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ON BEHALF OF QUALIFYING INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES.
THE FOUNDATION FUNDS TRIPS OUT OF THE COUNTRY TO PROVIDE HEALTHCARE, ESPECIALLY EYECARE, TO TH EPOOR OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES. THE FUNDING IS PROVIDED TO QUALIFYING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES.
