THE UNITED WAY PROVIDES HELP FOR MANY PEOPLE-SERVICE AGENCIES IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES OF THIS AREA OF TEXAS. WE ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT RAISES FUNDS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO OUR PARTNER AGENCIES. WE USE FUNDS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO A WIDE RANGE OF PEOPLE IN NEED BY WORKING WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS, BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS. WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE UNITED WAY, YOU ARE HELPING YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, FAMILIES AND CO-WORKERS AND YOU'RE MAKING YOUR COMMUNITY HEALTHIER, HAPPIER AND STRONGER.
