THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO STRENGTHEN AND ENCOURAGE FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AN ARRAY OF TEACHING, MENTORING, AND OTHER HELPFUL RESOURCES THAT ASSIST FAMILIES TO BE AS EFFECTIVE AS POSSIBLE IN THEIR RELATIONSHIPS.

IN 2021, SAN ANTONIO MARRIAGE INITIATIVE (SAMI) FOCUSED ON REFINING OUR ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSES, TO BETTER SERVE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AS WELL AS COMMUNIITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. LOCALLY, SAMI PROVIDED OVER 187 EVENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR MARRIAGE HELP AND HOPE. ADDITIONALLY, WE INSPIRED AND RESOURCED OUR ONLINE COMMUNITY, DISSEMINATING OVER 200 SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS TO OVER 1M PEOPLE. THROUGH OUR CHAMPION CHURCH PROGRAM, 24 CHURCHES WERE EMPOWERED WITH INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRAINING TO SERVE FAMILIES IN THEIR CONGREGATION AND COMMUNITIES. SAMI LAUNCHED THE NATIONAL LEADER PROJECT, BUILDING OVER 33 NEW RELATIONSHIPS WITH NATIONALLY KNOWN AND TRUSTED AUTHORS, SPEAKERS AND LEADERS. THIS RESULTED IN THE PRODUCTION OF OVER 23 CONTENT-RICH VIDEO INTERVIEWS AND 30 BLOG PUBLICATIONS FOR RELATIONAL WELLNESS. SAMI WORKED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE EDUCATION TO HOST THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE, WHERE OUR PRESIDENT DELIVERED A MAIN SESSION PLENARY, AND PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY WERE BETTER EQUIPPED TO SERVE MARRIAGES AND FAMILIES. SAMI LAUNCHED THE "CITY PROJECT," EMPOWERING 8 NEW CITIES AND 35 COMMUNITY LEADERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO LAUNCH MARRIAGE INITIATIVES. WE CONTINUE TO CELEBRATE THE DECLINE IN DIVORCES, WITH THE PREVALENCE RATE OF DIVORCES IN SAN ANTONIO REDUCING 24% SINCE SAMI'S FOUNDING.
