VOLUNTEER SERVICES - INTERFAITH MINISTRIES RECEIVED VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FROM APPROXIMATELY 1,500 VOLUNTEERS IN THIS FISCAL PERIOD. THESE VOLUNTEERS DONATED OVER 30,000 HOURS OF THEIR TIME IN SUPPORT OF IMGH'S PROGRAM SERVICE AREAS. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE SENIOR MEAL PACKAGING AND DELIVERY, PET MEAL PACKAGING AND DELIVERY, TRANSLATION AND CULTURAL ORIENTATION FOR REFUGEES, SPECIAL EVENTS AND OUTREACH, BOARD AND COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION, INTERNSHIPS, AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE. VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDED THANKSGIVING PHONE CALLS TO SENIORS, CREATING CARDS AND GIFTS FOR CLIENTS, AND PROVIDING REFUGEE FAMILY MENTORSHIP. THE ESTIMATED VALUE OF THESE VOLUNTEER HOURS WAS ALMOST $900,000.EXPLANATION OF IM SUPPORT - IM SUPPORT WAS ORGANIZED IN AUGUST 2013 AS A TEXAS NONPROFIT CORPORATION TO SECURE NEW MARKET TAX CREDITS FINANCING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE W.T.
