HUMANITIES TEXAS ADMINISTERS A COMPETITIVE GRANTS PROGRAM; CREATES AND CIRCULATES TRAVELING EXHIBITIONS; HOLDS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS AND SUMMER INSTITUTES AND PRODUCES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO SUPPORT TEXAS SCHOOLS; ADMINISTERS AN AWARDS PROGRAM THAT RECOGNIZES OUTSTANDING TEACHERS; DEVELOPS PUBLICATIONS, AND MAINTAINS A WEBSITE AND ONLINE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES. OUR PROGRAMS STRENGTHEN TEXAS COMMUNITIES BY CULTIVATING THE KNOWLEDGE AND JUDGEMENT THAT REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY DEMANDS OF ITS CITIZENS.
