ESTABLISHED IN 1914, THE ART LEAGUE HAS BEEN RUN BY VOLUNTEERS FOR 107 YEARS WHILE AFFECTED BY COVID IN 2021, WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE MORE CLASSES AND EXHIBITS THAN THE PRIOR YEAR. COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION THE ART LEAGUE WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER LOCAL NON-PROFITS TO ENRICH THE CULTURAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. KIDS SUMMER CLASSES EVERY YEAR, THE ART LEAGUE OFFERS A WEEK-LONG LOW-COST WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN. WORKSHOPS THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO JOIN MEMBERS IN DEMONSTRATIONS AND CLASSES IN ART TECHNIQUES. WE HELD FOUR WORKSHOPS IN 2021. K-12 JURIED SHOW HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE GRAND KIDS FESTIVAL IN APRIL, THE SHOW ALLOWS LOCAL STUDENTS TO SHOW OFF THEIR ARTISTIC ABILITIES. SUPPORTING LOCAL TEACHERS THE ART LEAGUE COLLECTS DONATED ART SUPPLIES AND PASSES THEM ON TO ART TEACHERS COUNTY WIDE. MEMBER & JURIED SHOWS TWELVE TIMES A YEAR, THE GALLERY CHANGES SHOWS: NINE MEMBERSHIP SHOWS AND THREE JURIED SHOWS THAT ANYONE CAN ENTER.
