TO EFFECT A COMPREHENSIVE REVITALIZATION OF THE COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS OF TARGETED AREAS IN CENTRAL EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS. ARA AND EEC IN CONJUCTION WITH THE CITY OF AUSTIN AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR WILL UTILIZE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FUNDS TO ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TO COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION IN THESE TARGETED AREAS. IN ADDITION, OUR MOST RECENT FOCUS IS ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND PRESERVING AFFORDABLE HOUSING BOTH RENTAL AND HOMEOWNERSHIP.
