COMITIS HAS BEEN SERVING THE ESSENTIAL EMERGENCY SHELTERING NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY SINCE 1970, HELPING TO ADDRESS GAPS IN THE SYSTEM OF CARE AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN TIMES OF NEED. PROGRAMS ENSURE THAT EACH CLIENT'S BASIC HUMAN NEEDS (INCLUDING ACCESS TO FOOD, CLOTHING, AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS) ARE MET; ENSURE THAT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES HAVE A SAFE PLACE TO STAY; ENSURE THAT HOMELESS YOUTH REMAIN IN SCHOOL; AND INCREASE ACCESS TO BEHAVIORAL, PHYSICAL AND ORAL HEALTH.
