TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAMS THAT ARE RESPONSIVE, EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE IN DELIVERING RECOVERY FOCUSED SERVICES THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CONSUMER AND THEIR FAMILIES.

HOPE COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. (HOPE) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO OPERATE AS A SERVICE CENTER RENDERING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO THOSE PERSONS IN OKLAHOMA COUNTY WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THEIR FINANCIAL STATUS AND/OR ABILITY TO PAY. BECAUSE OF ITS DESIGNATION BY THE STATE MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT AS THE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER RESPONSIBLE FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE AREA 19, HOPE HAS A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP TO THAT GEOGRAPHIC AREA, A PORTION OF OKLAHOMA COUNTY, AND GIVES PRIORITY TO THE RESIDENTS OF THAT AREA IN THOSE SPECIFIC SERVICES FUNDED BY THE STATE. HOPE PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (PAP) ARE PROGRAMS OFFERED BY MOST PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES TO PROVIDE MEDICATION TO INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET CERTAIN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, GENERALLY, THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULD BE OTHERWISE UNABLE TO AFFORD PURCHASING MEDICATIONS ON THEIR OWN. AS SERVICE TO ITS PATIENTS, HOPE ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS IN GETTING ENROLLED IN CERTAIN PAPS AND ACTS AS AN AGENT FOR THE THIRDPARTY PROVIDERS AND THE CUSTODIAN OF MEDICATIONS FOR THE ELIGIBLE PATIENTS. IT IS THE POLICY OF HOPE NOT TO RECORD AN ASSET, LIABILITY, REVENUE OR EXPENSE, FOR MEDICATION RECEIVED BUT NOT YET DISTRIBUTED TO PATIENTS. FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022 , THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE MEDICATIONS PASSED THROUGH HOPE WAS APPROXIMATELY $1,132,000.
