THE YWCA CORPUS CHRISTI'S FITNESS PROGRAM PROVIDED QUALITY WATER AND LAND AEROBIC CLASSES, CARDIO AND STRENGTH TRAINING, SWIMMING, YOGA, WEIGHT TRAINING, AND TAI CHI TO OVER 6,125 PEOPLE OF ALL LEVELS OF STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY AND ENDURANCE. FOCUS IS PRIMARILY FOR BABY BOOMERS AND PEOPLE WITH CHALLENGES.
THE YWCA CORPUS CHRISTI'S COMMUNITY CONNECTION PROGRAM DEVELOPED STRONG SELF-ESTEEM AND LEADERSHIP AND ENHANCED TRANSITION TO ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR OVER 934 GIRLS IN THE 5TH AND 6TH GRADES, CONDUCTED THE ANNUAL RACIAL JUSTICE FORUM, THE ANNUAL DIEZ Y SIES FORUS, HELD THE ANNUAL NATIONAL WEEK WITHOUT VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN, AND HONORED ACCOMPLISHED PROFESSIONAL WOMEN AT THE ANNUAL YWOMEN IN CAREER BANQUET.
