COMMUNITY BASED JOB TRAINING - WORK GROUPS - IS THE FIRST PHASE OF INTEGRATED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. THE PROGRAM SERVES INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE READY TO WORK AT AN EMPLOYER'S WORK LOCATION WHILE PROVIDING ONGOING DAILY SUPPORT.
CENTER BASED TRAINING - OUTSOURCE CENTER - IS THE ONSITE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM AT THE BRIDGES FOUNDATION FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. THE CENTER'S PURPOSE IS TO TEACH, TRAIN, MODEL AND MOLD ACCEPTABLE WORK BEHAVIOUR FOR TRANSITIONING TO COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT.
COMMUNITY BASED JOB TRAINING - INDIVIDUAL PLACEMENT - IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THE CONTINUUM OF CARE OFFERED FOR ADULTS WITH BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. THIS PROGRAM ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR INDEPENDENT SEARCH FOR A JOB. ONCE EMPLOYED, EACH INDIVIDUAL WORKS INDEPENDENT OF ONGOING SUPPORT WITH OCCASIONAL REVIEWS TO ENSURE EXPECTATIONS OF EMPLOYEE AND EMPLOYER ARE BEING MET.
CENTER BASED TRAINING - HEALTHY LIVING - IS THE ONSITE CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OFFERING ONGOING LIFE SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM DESIGNED TO ASSIST EACH INDIVIDUAL IN BOTH DAILY LIVING SKILLS AND POSITIVE WORK HABITS. WORK ADJUSTMENT TRAINING - PROVIDES CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND CURRICULUM TO STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. STUDENTS WILL LEARN PRE-VOCATIONAL, LIFE SKILLS AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS. THE PURPOSE IS TO TEACH, TRAIN, MODEL AND MOLD ACCEPTABLE WORK BEHAVIOR FOR TRANSITIONING FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT. BRIDGES SUMMER CAMP - A SUMMER CAMP FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES.
