TO BUILD GIRLS OF COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND CHARACTER WHO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. PROVIDE GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS FOR GIRLS AGES 5 - 17 IN 39 COUNTIES IN OKLAHOMA.

SINCE THE MAJORITY OF GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMMING IS PROVIDED BY OUR DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS, SUPPORTING THEIR EFFORTS IS A TOP PRIORITY. OUR TEAM ENSURES MONTHLY COMMUNICATION WITH EACH LEADER AND PROVIDES IDEAS AND ASSISTANCE WITH MEETING BADGE REQUIREMENTS. TRAININGS ON LEADING GIRLS IN THE OUTDOORS, STEM, AND GIRL LEAD PROGRAMMING ARE PROVIDED TYPICALLY EACH QUARTER. WE ALSO PROVIDE TRAININGS DIRECTLY TO OUR GIRL MEMBERS TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE AWARDS SUCH AS THE BRONZE, SILVER, AND GOLD AWARD. IN ADDITION WE HOST COUNCIL WIDE EVENTS FOR ALL GIRLS IN OUR REGION. THESE EVENTS RANGE FROM SERVING 100 TO 1000 GIRLS AT A SINGLE EVENT.
OUTDOOR PROGRAM IS ONE OF THE GIRL SCOUT PILLAR AREAS AND WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER BOTH RESIDENTIAL CAMP AND DAY CAMP OPPORTUNITIES. WE SERVED OVER 700 MEMBERS IN OUR SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS IN 2019. IN ADDITION MANY OF OUR MEMBERS ATTEND WEEKEND CAMPS OR VOLUNTEER LEADCOMMUNITY CAMPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WE OFFER ROBUST TRAINING FOR OUR ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP THEM PROVIDE GREAT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES TO OUR GIRL MEMBERS. CONSTRUCTION OF CAMP TRIVERA, AN URBAN STEM AND OUTDOOR CAMP THAT OPERATES YEAR ROUND WITH STATE OF THE ART PROGRAMMING OPTIONS WAS COMPLETED IN SEPTEMBER 2020.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AND DIRECTS GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS, IN ADDITION TO THOSE DETAILED ABOVE, FOR GIRLS AGES 5 TO 17 IN 39 COUNTIES IN OKLAHOMA. PROGRAMMING INCLUDES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, STEM, HEALTHY LIVING, ANTI-BULLYING, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, AND OTHER PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT GIRLS (GO-GETTER, INNOVATOR, RISK-TAKER, LEADER). WE ALSO SERVE GIRLS IN THE OKLAHOMA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN A MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM, GIRLS IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM, AND OTHER COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INCLUDING HOUSING, GIRLS IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM, AND LOW INCOME AND AFTER SCHOOL TROOPS.
