GIRL SCOUTS IS THE PREMIER LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ALL GIRLS AGES 5 - 17. OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD GIRLS OF COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, AND CHARACTER, WHO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. WE CHAMPION GIRL AMBITION BY HELPING GIRLS DISCOVER WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO THEM AND PROVIDING EXCITING, FUN EXPERIENCES FOR THEM TO LEARN AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND THE WORLD.

GIRL SCOUTS OF THE MISSOURI HEARTLAND DEVELOPS BOTH GIRLS AND ADULTS IN 62 COUNTIES IN MISSOURI, THREE COUNTIES IN KANSAS, AND TWO COUNTIES IN OKLAHOMA. BY PROVIDING ACTIVITIES, RESOURCES AND TRAINING, ADULTS ARE PREPARED TO PROVIDE THE GIRL SCOUT PROGRAM LOCALLY AND GIRLS ARE POISED TO BE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE.
THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAM PILLARS SUCH AS STEM, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, OUTDOORS AND LIFE SKILLS, GIRL SCOUTS BUILDS AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH GIRLS ARE WELCOMED, SUPPORTED, AND ENCOURAGED TO TRY NEW THINGS. ALL ACTIVITIES AND ACTIONS ARE DESIGNED TO BRING OUT THE CREATIVITY TO HELP HER THRIVE AND HER CONFIDENCE SOAR - BECOMING LEADERS WHO CREATE A BETTER FUTURE FOR HERSELF AND HER COMMUNITY.
