THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES AND OPERATES THE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN AND GRANT DISTRIBUTION PROCESS FOR THE "TACALA GROUP" THAT OWNS AND OPERATES TACO BELL FRANCHISES IN THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S. FUNDS ARE RAISED PRIMARILY FOR BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS AND OTHER EDUCATION FOCUSED ORGANIZATIONS BENEFITING TEENS, BUT ARE ALSO EXTENDED TO INCLUDE MANY OTHER CHARITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THE TACALA GROUP DOES BUSINESS.


THE TEAM TACALA CHARITIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM HELPS OUR TEEN TEAM MEMBERS REACH THEIR GOALS FOR POST-HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION BY OFFERING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR COLLEGE OR POST-SECONDARY VOCATIONAL INSTITUTION SCHOLARSHIPS. IN 2022 TEAM TACALA CHARITIES AWARDED 50 SCHOLARSHIPS TO TEEN TEAM MEMBERS TO ATTEND TWO AND FOUR YEAR COLLEGES OR VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS. EVERY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR, COLLEGE FRESHMAN AND ONE-TIME SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT WHO APPLIED AND MET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP.
