STAY LOCAL - A PROJECT OF THE URBAN CONSERVANCY, STAY LOCAL IS GREATER NEW ORLEANS INDEPENDENT BUSINESS ALLIANCE. WE CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES TO THRIVE THROUGH RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY.
FRONT YARD INITIATIVE - THE FRONT YARD INITIATIVE IS A PROJECT OF THE URBAN CONSERVANCY TO IMPROVE NEW ORLEANS SAFETY, STORM WATER MANAGEMENT, AND BEAUTY. THE FRONT YARD INITIATIVE CONNECTS HOMEOWNERS INTERESTED IN REPLACING UNWANTED CONCRETE AND ASPHALT WITH PLANTS AND SOIL. THE PROGRAM AIMS TO FURTHER THE SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE GOALS SPELLED OUT IN THE GNO URBAN WATER PLAN, AND THE NEW ORLEANS MASTER PLAN.
HOFFMAN TRIANGLE - THE SOUTHEAST SUSTAINABILITY COMMUNITIES FUND PROJECT IN HOFFMAN TRIANGLE HT AIMS TO IMPLEMENT RESIDENTIAL GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATIONS, WHILE IDENTIFYING NEIGHBORHOOD CHALLENGES AND ASSETS. THE PROJECT PARTNERS INCLUDE THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS OFFICE OF RESILIENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY ORS URBAN CONSERVANCY GREEN LIGHT NEW ORLEANS GREEN LIGHT LAUNCH NOLA GREEN, SUSTAINING OUR URBAN LANDSCAPE SOUL AND WATER BLOCK LLC. THIS PROJECT IS BASED IN THE HOFFMAN TRIANGLE NEIGHBORHOOD, A 44-BLOCK AREA BOUNDED BY S. BROAD AVENUE, S. CLAIBORNE AVENUE, WASHINGTON AVENUE, AND MARTIN LUTHER KING BOULEVARD IN NEW ORLEANS, LA.
