WORKSHOPS ARE HELD TO INTRODUCE NEW IDEAS AND CONCEPTS IN THE FLORAL FIELD. FUNDING IS ALSO PROVIDED TO AIFD TO RECRUIT ACCLAIMED DESIGNERS TO TEACH INNOVATIVE METHODS OF FLORAL DESIGN.
THE ORGANIZATION AWARDS THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS: 1. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TUITION ARE AWARDED TO ANY LEVEL COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY STUDENT WHOSE STUDY IS IN THE FIELDS OF FLORICULTURE, OR FLORAL RETAIL MANAGEMENT WITH AN EMPHASIS OF FLORAL DESIGN. 2. SYMPOSIUM SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO DESIGNERS IN THE FLORAL INDUSTRY TO ATTEND A FIRST TIME SYMPOSIUM FOR AN IN DEPTH EDUCATION OF FLORAL DESIGN AND TO LEARN HOW TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL FLORAL DESIGNER. 3. GRANTS ARE PROVIDED TO ASSOCIATIONS OF FLORAL DESIGNERS FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. 4. SCHOLARSHIPS TO EDUCATE AND MENTOR FLORAL DESIGNERS PROVIDING POSSIBILITIES FOR CAREER ADVANCEMENT. 5.
