NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY'S SALES AND SERVICES TEAMS SELL, MARKET, ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE TRAVEL TO NEW ORLEANS AS A DESTINATION TO CONVENE CONFERENCES, CONVENTIONS, CORPORATE MEETINGS AND MAJOR EVENTS. TEAM MEMBERS TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND BEYOND YEAR-ROUND MEETING WITH PLANNERS AND DECISION MAKERS ACTIVELY BIDDING COMPETITIVELY WITH OTHER DESTINATIONS. NUMEROUS MAJOR EVENTS HOSTED IN NEW ORLEANS AS A RESULT OF THESE EFFORTS INCLUDE NCAA/FINAL FOUR, SUPER BOWL, ESSENCE, MISS UNIVERSE AND SUGAR BOWL ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS. THEY ATTEND NUMEROUS INDUSTRY SHOWS TO SHOWCASE AND PROMOTE NEW ORLEANS AS A DESTINATION AND BRING IN CUSTOMERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SCOUT AND SITE HOTELS, RESTAURANTS, VENUES, (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) AND MANY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITHIN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY CONTACTS MANY ASSOCIATIONS AND CORPORATE BUSINESSES TO SOLICIT FACILITIES IN NEW ORLEANS; 1,048 CONVENTIONS AND MEETINGS WERE BOOKED BY NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY IN 2023. THE CONVENTION & SALES TEAM BOOKED A TOTAL OF 1,467,629 ROOM NIGHTS IN 2023. LEISURE TOURISM SALES NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY'S LEISURE SALES TEAM SELL, MARKET, ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE TRAVEL TO NEW ORLEANS AS A DESTINATION FOR GROUP TRAVEL WHICH INCLUDES SALES AND PROMOTION TO TRAVEL AGENTS, MOTORCOACH BUS GROUPS, CLASS, MILITARY AND FAMILY REUNIONS, CHURCH AND YOUTH GROUPS, WEDDINGS, BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE GATHERINGS, GIRLS' WEEKENDS, AND ANY OTHER REASON TO VISIT NEW ORLEANS. THE LEISURE SALES TEAM ALSO WORKS WITH REPRESENTATIVES IN UNITED KINGDOM, GERMANY, FRANCE, INDIA, MEXICO AND OTHER COUNTRIES PERIODICALLY TO PROMOTE NEW ORLEANS AS A DESTINATION FOR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS. PARTNERSHIPS, WHICH INCLUDE MARKETING AND ADVERTISING, ARE ALIGNED WITH BRITISH AIRWAYS TO CONTINUE TO PROMOTE FLIGHTS TO AND FROM NEW ORLEANS ALONG WITH CRUISE LINES TO MAINTAIN SHIPS AT PORT FOR ALL TO SAIL FROM OUR GREAT CITY OF NEW ORLEANS.NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 13,806 TRAVEL AGENTS IN 2023 AND BOOKED A TOTAL OF 466,475 ROOM NIGHTS.


NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM FOCUSES ON RELATIONSHIP BUILDING WITH JOURNALISTS AND INFLUENCERS, BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL, ALONG WITH ASSISTING ALL FACETS OF THE MEDIA IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN POSITIVE COVERAGE OF NEW ORLEANS AS A TRAVEL DESTINATION.NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY ASSISTED MEDIA AROUND THE WORLD FOR A TOTAL RESULT OF 1,375 ASSISTED IN 2023.


EXTERNAL AFFAIRS & MEMBERSHIPNEW ORLEANS & COMPANY'S MEMBERSHIP CONSISTS OF 1,236 BUSINESSES AND OPENS THE DOORS TO NEW MARKETING IDEAS, NETWORKING, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND INDUSTRY RESEARCH... AND THAT'S JUST A FEW OF THE BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO OUR MEMBERS. OUR MEMBERS ENCOMPASS ALL FACETS OF INDUSTRY, FROM HOTELS, BED & BREAKFASTS, RESTAURANTS AND NIGHTCLUBS, TOURS AND ATTRACTIONS TO TRANSPORTATION AND BUSINESS SERVICES. MEMBERSHIP CONCENTRATES ON NETWORKING, JOB FAIRS, HEALTH FAIRS, HOSPITALITY TRAINING, SUSTAINABILITY AND MANY OTHER INITIATIVES. IN 2023, APPROXIMATELY 246,405 BROCHURES WERE CIRCULATED.LEISURE MARKETINGNEW ORLEANS & COMPANY MARKETS TO CONSUMERS VIA PRINT AND DIGITAL ADVERTISING, TELEVISION, RADIO, BILLBOARDS, WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA AND MANY OTHER AVENUES TO ATTRACT VISITORS TO THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS. THEIR EFFORTS DRIVE CONSUMERS TO NEW ORLEANS & COMPANY'S WEBSITE ULTIMATELY GENERATING BOOKINGS FROM GUESTS ALL OVER THE WORLD TO VISIT AND STAY IN THE NEW ORLEANS AREA.
