IN 2022, SVOC WORKED IN SOLANO, NAPA, AND OTHER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COUNTIES TO TRAIN COMMUNITY LEADERS ON HOW TO ENGAGE IN THE CIVIC PROCESS. SVOC WORKED TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN PARENTS, TEACHERS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ADDRESS THE PRESSURES FACING FAMILIES IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, SCHOOLS, AND COMMUNITIES. ISSUES INCLUDED PUBLIC SAFETY, HOUSING, AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY IN THE WAKE OF THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC. SVOC HELD MULTIPLE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING SESSIONS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS DURING THE YEAR.
