KNOWLEDGE BUILDERS OF FLORIDA, INC. (KBF) IS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2001. KBF'S MISSION IS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT HIGH-QUALITY, INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING AND SERVICES THAT ARE OUTCOME-FOCUSED, COST-EFFECTIVE, AND SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. KBF VISION IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES IN AN INNOVATIVE, SAFE, AND DRUG-FREE ENVIRONMENT, WHICH SUPPORTS AND ENCOURAGES ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT WHILE ENHANCING PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND SOCIAL WELL BEING. IN 2021, ORGANIZATION PROVIDED SERVICES FOR OVER 100 YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES IN ITS AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM AND SUMMER CAMP. SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT WAS SEEN IN POST TEST RESULTS.
