TO EMPOWER GIRLS 7 TO 17 AND THEIR FAMILIES TO SUCCEED IN ORDER TO PROTECT, RESTORE AND PRESERVE THE FAMILY UNIT. OUR MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH SAFE SPACES, EVIDENCED BASED PROGRAMS AND SERVICERS AND A GENDER SPECIFIC TRAUMA FOCUSED APPROACH THAT SUPPORT GIRLS' MENTAL, BEHAVIORAL, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING.

IN 2021 WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 250 GIRLS THROUGH OUR GENDER SPECIFIC EVIDENCED BASED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT SEVEN SITES INCLUDING MIAMI DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. 90% OF GIRLS WHO COMPLETE OUR PROGRAM SHOWED IMPROVED PRO-SOCIAL ATTITUDES ABOUT CONFLICT, ATTITUDE TOWARDS VIOLENCE AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS. 85% OF GIRLS ENROLLED IN TRAUMA FOCUSED THERAPY DEMONSTRATE INCREASED PRO-SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL SKILLS AND INCREASED CONDUCT GRADES IN SCHOOL. 80% OF GIRLS WHO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM SHOWED IMPROVED SCHOOL ATTENDANCE. GIRL POWER'S SAFE SPACES HELP GIRLS FIND THEIR VOICES, SET HEALTHY BOUNDARIES FOR THEMSELVES AND SPEAK UP AND CALL OUT INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR.
