EDUCATING AT-RISK YOUTH THROUGH WRITING OUR STORIES CONDUCTED IN SCHOOLS ON THE CAMPUSES OF ALABAMA DEPT OF YOUTH SERVICES, INCLUDING A SCHOOL WITH AN INTENSIVE SEX-OFFENDER TRAINING PROGRAM (ABSOP, MT. MEIGS). ALSO EDUCATING AT-RISH YOUTH IN TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS IN SEVENTH GRADE CLASSROOMS.2. SERVICES TO WRITERS INCLUDE PROMOTING ESTABLISHED WRITERS WORKS & EMERGING WRITERS BOOKS THROUGH ON-LINE REVIEWS, A DIGITAL NEWSROOM & APPEARANCES AT THE ALABAMA BOOK FESTIVAL. READERS & WRITERS MEET THROUGH PUBLIC PROGRAMS SUCH AS ALABAMA BOOK FESTIVAL (MONTGOMERY) AND ALABAMA WRITERS SYMPOSIUM (MONROEVILLE).3.
