CONFEDERATION OF INDIAN INDUSTRY IS INDIA'S LARGEST INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION WHOSE GOAL IS TO DEVELOP INDIAN INDUSTRY AND TO ENSURE THAT GOVERNMENT AND SOCIETY AS A WHOLE, UNDERSTAND BOTH THE NEEDS OF INDUSTRY AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE NATION'S WELL BEING. IT HAS A REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA WHICH SEEKS TO PROMOTE THE US-INDIA TRADE AND COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP. THROUGH THE US OFFICE, CII MAINTAINS PARTNERSHIPS WITH US BUSINESSES, US GOVERNMENT, THINK TANKS AND UNIVERSITIES AND PROMOTES KNOWLEDGE ON BUSINESS, INVESTMENT AND TRADE POLICIES IN INDIA.
